The Calhoun Aquatic Center opened in January 2015 with a vision to bring recreational and competitive swimming and water-based health and fitness to the Northwest Georgia Community. Our state-of-the-art facility operates year-round and offers a variety of aquatic activities including: lap swimming, swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes, swim clinics, competitive swim and dive programs, competitive swim meets, lifeguard certification, birthday parties, and physical therapy / rehabilitation. We are also a Silver Sneakers, Active & Fit, Silver & Fit, and Renew Active insurance affiliate facility. We provide aquatic services and opportunities to 1000+ community members and swimmers through our program offerings and welcome 2500+ spectators for our hosted events each year, contributing to both greater health and sense of belonging to community members of all ages and skill levels.
