Step 2: Complete the online registration form.

Step 3: Print & complete the registration packet. Bring your completed packet with you to your in-person appointment.
Need a printed copy?Pick one up at CELA or the CCS Central Office.

Before attending our Pre-K Lottery Registration on March 5th or 6th, the parent/guardian will need to print the pdf packet below and complete all steps in the instructions. ONLY completed applications will be accepted and entered into the Lottery .

If you are not able to print, packets can also be picked up at the Calhoun Early Learning Academy or at Calhoun City Schools Central Office.

If your student is currently enrolled in our CELA Pre-K program,
you will not need to re-register to attend CELA Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

Important Terms

OLR - Online Registration
The Parent or Guardian refers to the person(s) entrusted by law with the care of a minor. Examples include mom, dad, foster mom, foster dad, educational advocate, etc.
Emergency Contact is any person who should be contacted if a parent/guardian cannot be reached.
Other Household Members include any person who is not a parent/guardian, emergency contact, or student that lives in the same household as the student(s).
The Student refers to the child that will be attending Calhoun City Schools.

When starting your OLR application, please remember:

Only the parent/guardian in the student’s primary household may complete OLR.
Popup blockers must be turned off in order to complete OLR.
Older model tablets/phones may not allow you to complete OLR.
Preferred browsers are Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Mobile devices may open documents in a new window. You must close that window in order to return to the OLR application screen.
Please make sure the ‘live’ picture option is not selected when uploading files.
If you do not have internet access, please contact the school where your child will attend to schedule an appointment with a family engagement coordinator.
