Student Parking Information

Guidelines

  • Designated Parking and Permits: Students must park in designated areas and display a CHS parking permit on the rearview mirror with information visible.

  • Vehicle Registration: The permit is valid only for the registered vehicle it was purchased for.

  • Vehicle Security: All vehicles should be locked. The school is not responsible for stolen items or vehicle damage on school property.

Permit Issuance and Maintenance

  • Issuance: Parking permits are issued by the school and may be denied or revoked.

  • Academic and Behavioral Standards: Students must remain in good academic and behavioral standing to maintain their permit.

  • Attendance Requirements: Students must maintain acceptable attendance, free from excessive unexcused tardies, early departures, and absences.

Students who have completed registration for the 2024-25 school year and wish to park on campus should follow these steps on their scheduled parking registration date:

  1. Complete an Online Student Parking Application. 

  1. Complete an Online Drug Test Consent Form, signed by both Student and Guardian. 

  1. Pay the $83 fee on the CHS Jackets Nest school store online. This fee is non-refundable and will not be prorated throughout the school year. This link will not open until the July 8th Senior registration date.

      

  2. Click here to upload the following required documents:  

  • Photo or copy of valid Class D or Class C Driver’s License 

  • Screenshot or photo of payment confirmation from school store payment  

Important Information:

  • All parking registration will be conducted online this year.

  • Applications submitted before the student's scheduled date will be processed last on their scheduled date.

  • Parking spaces will not be held for students missing any of the above items.

  • You will be asked to provide your parking lot preference from the options shown at the bottom of this page. Your parking space will be assigned by CHS, and you will be contacted when your CHS Parking Hang Tag is available for pick-up.

  • Hang tags should be hung from your rearview mirror and must be visible when parked on campus. All student drivers should keep current proof of auto insurance in their vehicle at all times.
