We are excited to share the news of the upcoming Parent Elections for the School Governance Teams (SGTs) at Calhoun City Schools. Since our transition to a charter school system in 2010, forming an SGT with three parent representatives at each school has been critical. These teams play a significant role in shaping the policies and educational experiences at our schools.
If you are interested in positively influencing your child's education and becoming more involved in school governance, we encourage you to consider running for a position on the SGT. To indicate your interest, please submit a written notification to your child's school principal by noon on Friday, April 26, 2024.
This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the success of our schools and to help secure a promising educational future for all our students.
