Recently, our CMS/CHS REACH scholars had a fantastic day at the University of North Georgia, where they toured the campus, explored post-secondary options, and participated in workshops on FAFSA, financial aid, and scholarships. We are immensely proud of our scholars as they prepare for future success! 🐝📚
REACH Georgia is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship initiative that equips promising students with the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school and succeed in higher education. REACH scholars, selected as rising eighth graders, commit to maintaining a 2.5 GPA, staying drug-free, and avoiding trouble. They are supported by an academic coach and a mentor throughout their high school journey. Upon graduation, those who meet the program's requirements receive financial scholarships to further their education.
