CALHOUN, GA – On Tuesday evening, Calhoun City Schools introduced the 2024-2025 Community Leadership Academy for Student Success (CLASS). This initiative is designed to engage, inform, and strengthen partnerships within the community by providing a comprehensive look into the operations and governance of the school system.
CLASS participants will have the chance to explore different areas of district leadership, including policy-making, budgeting, and the detailed processes behind teaching, learning, and student support services. The academy seeks to clarify information through interactive sessions and discussions, promote transparency, and build a more engaged and informed community.
“We believe that a strong partnership with our community is essential to the success of our students and schools,” said Superintendent Dr. Michele Taylor. “With the launch of CLASS, we are fostering an environment where purposeful communication and collaboration drive continuous improvement.”
