Tonight’s February Board Meeting set a positive tone as Ms. Elise Hartley’s Kindergarten Blue Bunnies led the Pledge of Allegiance, offered the Invocation, and shared their “good things.” We also celebrated the outstanding achievements of CHS 2025 PAGE STAR students, Elliot Stephens and Caleb Riley, along with their dedicated STAR teachers, Kelli DeGuire and India Galyean. Congratulations to our District Spelling Bee Champion, Sara Pass from Calhoun Middle School!
In addition, the Board recognized our Principals and Assistant Principals for earning the Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness—a prestigious award that all five Calhoun City Schools proudly received. This accomplishment also highlights the vital support from our community partners in education and public safety.
