CHS student parking permit pick up will be available today and tomorrow (July 25 and 26) from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the CHS front lobby. If a student cannot attend, a guardian or sibling may pick up the permit on their behalf. Assigned parking passes will also be available for pick up at Open House, Thursday, August 1st. #ProudToBeAYellowJacket

Reminder - All Calhoun City School students will receive one FREE breakfast and lunch each day during the 2024-2025 school year! Today marks the first day of summer school for our youngest learners in the Summer Transition Program! This year, the Calhoun Early Learning Academy is thrilled to host an upcoming kindergarten camp. Throughout the program, students will develop essential skills for success in the regular school year, including fine motor skills, language, math, and social skills. We are so excited to welcome them to the CELA! #GoJackets 🐝🎒📚🖍️

Shoutout to our amazing Calhoun City Schools Nutrition team! 🍎🐝 After almost the first week of summer feeding, our incredible team is on track to provide nearly ✨25,000 MEALS✨ to our community! Their dedication and hard work ensure that our students and families receive nutritious meals, even during the summer break. ➡ Who can get summer meals? Children and teens (18 and under) 📍 Where can I pick up? Meet us at one of our six serving sites: CPES Complex, City Apartment Complexes, Boys & Girls Club, Lejo, Imagination Station, Calhoun-Gordon County Library. Designated stops are marked with yard signs. CCS buses, cars, and school vans will be following city bus routes.

REQUIRED STUDENT VACCINE FORMS: All 7th and 11th-grade students must submit an updated 3231 vaccine form to the school nurse by September 20, 2024, as required by Georgia state law. Ensure your child's vaccines are current by scheduling an appointment with their doctor or the local health department at (706) 624-1444.
