Recently, sixth-grade students had the opportunity to learn from real-world experts in the field of electricity. After finishing the novel "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," they explored potential electricity-related careers. Chris Griffith, the lead electrician at Dalton Utilities, and Turner Hathcox, a CHS graduate (c/o 2017) and electrical engineer at Inglet & Stubbs Electrical Construction, shared insights into their career paths and preparations. Additionally, students were hands-on, working on STEM projects aligned with the novel's themes. Many students were intrigued and eager to discuss the steps required to pursue careers like Mr. Griffith and Mr. Hathcox. It was indeed an electrifying day in the classroom! #CTAEDelivers #CCSHeroes #DiscoverTheHeroWithinYou
