Outstanding Career and Technical Students at Calhoun High School were recently honored as the newest and first inductees into the National Technical Honor Society, the honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE). Sixty-six students were inducted for membership based on their skill development and academic achievement in their Career & Technical courses. Students must earn a 93 or above GPA in their career technical classes, be involved in their CTSO and be recommended by their teacher in order to be inducted.
"We are immensely proud of our inaugural class of National Technical Honor Society inductees and advisor Greta Hughes," said Dr. Brandi Hayes, Director of College and Career Programs for Calhoun City Schools district. "These students have set a high standard for excellence, and their commitment to their growth and the betterment of our community is truly commendable."
