CHS Hosts Senior Parent Night🐝
Calhoun High School hosted its first Parent Night for the Class of 2025 early this month. This event provided parents with important information previously shared during senior class meetings. CHS Principal Casey Parker and CHS Family Engagement Coordinator Marie Funes presented Title I information, while CHS 12th Grade Counselor Kendra Arnold shared details on graduation requirements, senior fees, events, military and career opportunities, technical and four-year college options, the college application process, HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships, financial aid, and ongoing college and career events.

The next Parent Night will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 6:00PM in the Calhoun Performing Arts Center for the Class of 2026. The Class of 2027 and Class of 2028 will have a joint Parent Night on November 7th at 6:00PM.

🐝 JACKETS YOUTH NIGHT 🐝
Join us this Friday (9/27) for Youth Night at the Reeve as Calhoun Football takes on Adairsville in region play! All Calhoun Community Education football, cheer, and Twirl-O-Whirl summer campers, along with Calhoun Recreation Department and SWARM football players, cheerleaders, and majorettes, are invited to participate in the pre-game excitement. Youth will have the opportunity to run through the helmet and be recognized on Hal Lamb Field! #proudtobeayellowjacket
➡ Participants should meet behind the Jumbotron near the baseball field by 6:45 PM, with recognitions starting at 7:00 PM. Wear your best black and gold and come ready to cheer on the Jackets! Kids participating will receive free entry. Parents/guardians must purchase tickets. K-8 students must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
