Calhoun City Schools Announces the Return of Hal Lamb
Coach Hal Lamb to return to Yellow Jacket Country as System Director of Athletic Programs / Leader Development
Calhoun, GA – Calhoun City Schools is thrilled to announce the return of legendary coach Hal Lamb to Yellow Jacket Country. Coach Lamb will take on the role of System Athletic Programs Director, contributing to program development and providing executive coaching expertise. Coach Lamb, who retired in 2019 after a notorious 21-year run as head coach, boasts an impressive legacy. As head coach, he led the Yellow Jackets to a remarkable 233-37 record, three state championships, and an astounding 18 consecutive region titles. Coach Lamb also faithfully served as athletic director.
The Calhoun community welcomes the Lamb family back to Hal Lamb Field at Phil Reeve Stadium as they continue their mission to inspire all students to become lifelong learners in the pursuit of excellence.
Coach Lamb is fully committed to his new role and is eager to contribute to the success of Calhoun City Schools. He will work closely with CHS Principal Casey Parker in the search for the CHS Assistant Principal - Athletic Director.
