At Monday night's February board meeting, Ms. Angela's Golden Giraffes kindergarten class led the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. In addition to discussing new business and departmental reports, the Board of Education recognized the following individuals for exceeding the Black and Gold Standard of Excellence: Hajrah Qureshi, CCS District Spelling Bee Champion; STAR student Vicky Chen and teacher Lori Fisher; CTAE Engineering & Technology teacher Kimberly Jones; and SROs and Chief Tony Pyle and Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Carson! We appreciate our Board of Education for their continuous support and for recognizing the great accomplishments from our students, teachers, and Jacket family!
