Third grade students have spent the last few weeks getting wrapped up in the wonderful world of "Because of Winn-Dixie" by Kate DiCamillo. After exploring the story's themes of friendship, acceptance, and community, students and teachers will celebrate their journey by reenacting the memorable party scene from the book. Everyone will dress up as their favorite characters and enjoy the food that was served in the book. It is always a special way to celebrate the end of our reading journey and the friendships we have formed along the way.
